I toe the line. I fight.
After years of determination, dedication and unwavering community support, the modified and high school wrestling program is returning to Cato-Meridian for the 2027-28 season.
A new chapter begins. The tradition continues.
A VICTORY FOR OUR COMMUNITY.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to the Cato-Meridian Board of Education for its decision to bring wrestling back to Cato, beginning the 2027–2028 school year.
This decision represents more than the return of a sports program. It represents an investment in our student-athletes and the future of Cato-Meridian athletics.
To our Board of Education, district leadership, coaches, alumni, parents, volunteers, and the many community members who have advocated for this program: thank you.
Your commitment has helped create an opportunity for the next generation of Blue Devils to represent their hometown with pride.
We're bringing wrestling home. And we're building something that will last. We’d love for you to join us!

THE FUTURE STARTS ON THE MAT.
Champions aren't made overnight. They're built through hard work, discipline, confidence, teamwork, and a community that believes in them.
The Cato-Meridian Youth Wrestling Program is the foundation of our wrestling community, introducing young athletes to the sport while helping experienced wrestlers develop their skills and competitive confidence. We have 70+ youth wrestlers with our program and we’d love to have you join us!
Led by Coach Steve Terpening & Coach Al Holdridge, our leadership consists of C-M alumni and we are so proud of what they are building here.
Whether your child is stepping onto a wrestling mat for the very first time or already competing in tournaments, there's a place for them in our wrestling family.
